Two Distant pulled together two sitters who have never met, and spaced them out years apart. Each was then treated with electric momentum in both anatomy and paint application. There was a trust present here that is very hard to come by. It was a trust of myself to execute accurate forms with one large flat brush from beginning to end. After these sitters left my studio I added the warming tone from peach sun. A sunlight-reddened commercial airplane inserts itself into view, if not to remind us only that the world is still turning. This was a groundbreaking painting in my history. One of the rare instances where I stopped myself once I had discovered the most important aspects of the narrative.
